About Me
Hi everyone!
My name is Rachel, and I'm a teacher, actor, and theatre creator from Denver, Colorado presently based in Chicago. I just finished a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Northwestern University as well as a minor in creative writing and concentrations in playwriting and theatre for young audiences.
I have been very lucky to play a lot in the worlds of puppets, creative drama, sensory theatre, and devising, and I am super passionate about accessibility in the arts, centering play in everyday spaces, and escape rooms.
I hope to continue to create theatre for for young people, as their imaginations are the best in the business, but most especially for kids that are excluded from traditional theatre because they can't sit still and silent. Theatre is about what it means to be human, so I think there could be a little less "still and silent" sometimes and a little more "dance and sing!"
